1. General Provisions
These Terms of Service (hereinafter — "Terms") govern the relationship between StratNodeTS Sole Proprietorship (hereinafter — the "Provider") and the user of the StratNodeTS website (hereinafter — the "Client"), who orders courses, mentoring, text editing, or consultations through this site.
By submitting a request on the site or paying for a service, the Client confirms that they have read and agree to these Terms.
2. Service Description
The Provider offers the following services:
- The "From Draft to Book" group course — an 8-week learning program
- One-on-one mentoring — personal author support
- Text editing — professional manuscript editing
- Literary consultation — a one-time diagnostic session
A detailed description of each service, its format, and pricing is available on the "Courses & Services" page.
3. Payment
Service pricing is listed on the site in US dollars. Payment is made by online bank card or bank transfer for sole proprietors/legal entities. A 2–3 payment installment plan is available for the course by prior arrangement.
Access to the course or service is granted after payment is confirmed (or after the first installment payment).
4. Refunds
Refund terms depend on the type of service:
- Group course: a full refund is available within the first two sessions of the course if the Client decides the format isn't right for them. No refund is issued after the third session, since most of the course materials have already been provided.
- One-on-one mentoring: refunds for unused, not-yet-held sessions — by written request within 14 days of payment.
- Text editing: a refund is possible if work on the text has not yet begun. If editing has already been partially completed, a proportional part of the fee is refunded.
- Consultation: if the Client cancels the consultation no later than 24 hours before the scheduled time, a full refund is issued.
To request a refund, write to info@stratnodets.com stating the reason.
5. Rights and Obligations of the Parties
The Provider agrees to:
- Deliver the service as described on the site
- Follow the agreed schedule of sessions or consultations
- Keep the Client's texts and materials confidential
The Client agrees to:
- Make timely payment according to the chosen format
- Provide materials (text, drafts) for the work within agreed timelines
- Follow the course community guidelines, where applicable
6. Responsibility for Results
The Provider offers structure, methodology, feedback, and expert support; however, the final creative result (completing the manuscript, its publication, commercial success) depends on the Client's own effort, time, and talent. The Provider does not guarantee specific financial results or publication of the text by a publishing house.
7. Termination of Agreement
Either party may initiate termination of the service agreement in writing. Refund terms in such a case are governed by Section 4 of these Terms.
8. Intellectual Property
All learning materials, session recordings, and methodological materials are the intellectual property of the Provider and are intended solely for the Client's personal use. Texts written by the Client during the course remain their own intellectual property.
9. Limitation of Liability
The Provider is not liable for temporary site unavailability due to technical issues, third-party actions, or force majeure. The Provider's maximum liability to the Client is limited to the amount paid for the relevant service.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine. All disputes are resolved through negotiation, and if agreement cannot be reached — in court in accordance with the laws of Ukraine.
